Founder of Faithful Translations

My name is Lilia and transcreating English sermons to Spanish is my passion. I was raised in the Church and have a deep understanding of traditional teachings, emphasis on faith, and historical context in both English and Spanish-speaking churches. I believe that not every Spanish translator can just come and interpret an English sermon into Spanish. My goal is to interpret content in a way that is not only faithful to the Word, but it also resonates with the Spanish-speaking members of the church.

  • While any translator or interpreter can do a good job, it requires an understanding of the Lord’s work to be able to faithfully translate or interpret a sermon. Here at Faithful translations our team is embedded in the church culture and understands the Great Mission of God.

  • Transcreation involves considering the overall message, including the content's look and feel, visual elements, tone and style, context, and cultural references.

    We believe that when creating something for a different culture, it requires a deep understanding of said culture… we are translating and creating something unique.

  • Translation primarily changes text from one language to another, whereas interpretation changes speech into another language.

    Interpreters must know the spoken customs, regionalisms, and colloquialisms of both languages and is a skill not every Spanish-speaker possess
